Respray on rear bumper cover a big concern?

I don't disagree. I'm pretty particular about my cars and it would drive me nuts if it arrived and found it not meeting my expectations. Just kind of a pain in the ***. It is only a $350 plane ticket.

I'll see where I get with the numbers and if I can make it work go from there.

Trust me, I've thought of that too. Not out of the question, but my wife's not loving the idea. She thinks I'm crazy,

I bought an E60 M5 10 years ago out of state. It was a fun drive back. Got pulled over doing 85 10 minutes after leaving the dealer. Told the cop my story and he let me off. BTW - sold that E60 a year later. Hated it. SMG was awful!

I seriously doubt the bumper cover hasn't been off. The reason all the fasteners look new is likely because the bumper cover was replaced, and not just resprayed in place. My experience, at least at a PACC, is they don't reuse practically anything when replacing significant parts. That would make the new bumper cover look like it had never been off, which would be true for that bumper cover.
