Default Thoughts on the 'Accelerated Driving Courses' at PEC?

Curious if anyone has done this yet? I did 2 of the 90 minute sessions at PEC LA a couple of years ago. Expensive but a lot of fun I thought. I am interesting in working on my driving/track skills, and what better way than this beating on someone else's GTS?

Matt Farah (The Smoking Tire) produced a video on the PEC LA Accelerated Driving Course:

Even if you're not a regular fan of his YouTube channel, I think the video gives a pretty good
idea of what you can get out of the course.

Nice find on the link!
It really looks just like double the time of the normal experience. Practice makes perfect but if you've already been there twice, maybe a track experience is in order?

I recently did the course at PEC LA in a GT3 with my wife in a Boxster. Both of us had a great time and although 90 minutes doesn’t seem like a lot of time it’s pretty intense so you do end up feeling like you get your money’s worth. I had a great instructor who listened to what I wanted to work on and we ended up spending almost all our time on the track and skipped a couple of the exercises like the slalom. We did a number of launch control starts on the acceleration straight and it was kind of cool to come up out of the hole and accelerate up to around 125mph right next to the 405. One minute your watching cars on the freeway go by and then a moment later you’re ripping past them.

My wife and I and “my” GT3 for the day. PEC LA.

Unfortunately this not offred at the ATL facility. I called and they do not have any plans certain for this curriculum, but may offer something more than the 90 minute program in the future.

spend a third as much and get more track time at a DE event. Benefit of learning your own car included at no extra charge.

One day at the Porsche Driving School is $700 cheaper and you get 7 hours seat time vs 4 hrs at PEC.

I've been to PEC 5 times now. For the amount of money they are talking about, I'd rather go to Barbers. https://www.porschedriving.com/porsche-track-experience

PEC tracks are small and limited.

Exactly....the Porsche schools at Barber Motorsports Park are really good. I did all of them years ago and they advanced my track skills greatly...they even made me a better instructor for the groups I run with.
