**Hi all, this is my 2019 delivered about 10 days ago, custom spec...loving the car so far, this is my 6th Porsche. I went with a fairly basic build as I track my 2012 987.2S occasionally and just wanted a daily driver. I couldn’t be more pleased about getting an allocation for $5000 off MSRP after having now seen the 992. Cheers all. Loving the lava orange cars, great that

Just used all OEM Carrera S parts ordered from Suncoast.
Front: rotors, pads, calipers, and dust shields.
Rear: calipers only (everything else was the same as standard T brakes)(could have just painted rear calipers but I wanted a factory finish)
I think everything was roughly 3300 if I remember right.
Unfortunately it added 3.9 pounds for each front wheel....which is so noticeable...
Also did caliper studs from Tarret and a Speigler stainless brake line kit from BGB.
I don't anticipate much difference in stopping power to be honest, maybe just quicker heat dissipation with the bigger rotors. Not that the standard brakes didn't perform well either - they were fine on track with Pagid pads and SRF fluid - at least at VIR anyway.
I haven't had the car at any other tracks and I don't anticipate tracking the car more than 1 or 2 times a year. VIR has very heavy braking zones but there are longer straights that allow the brakes to cool between very heavy braking zones. Perhaps at other tracks it may be different but so far my experience has been that the standard brakes with SRF and Pagids are up to the task.
I just really wanted the bigger red calipers. I like the look of big red brakes. Not usually into bling but something about the red calipers I really like - especially with the red highlights inside my car.
I also considered doing the Girodisc rotors all around as well but that would be another $2500.... In hindsight I probably would have ordered PCCB but overall no regrets. Still prefer the red calipers over yellow as far looks go.

I really like that clean look without the PORSCHE and large model designation script. I just did the standard 911 sub for the model designation but the look of no other lettering except the 911T looks really nice.

On the subject of simplicity...
Hey guys - just going through the agonizing contortions of specing out my new T. I've got the last order at the dealership for a summer build and arrival. Some of you I know enjoy this process but I find it stressful! I like all kinds of art, cars, watches etc... and it's really hard spec things out.
This being said, what I want is a nice, clean exterior and interior. I like the T interiors but sometimes look too much. So I've optioned out two here:
Thoughts?
White, PCCBs
A) Carrera T red interior, LWBS, black guages, non-leather
B) Leather, Carrera T in black, LWBS, red seatbelts. White guages?

For Zeus993...
Ok, with the exception of the Sport wheels, your 1st spec is the same cosmetically as my build. Hit me up if you want real world pics vice configurator ones. I love it and wouldn't change a thing. I don't miss the leather at all, but feared I would. The red accents give a nice pop. I like the bespoke T interior features, but it comes down to taste. Maybe the red belts are enough for you. I would not spec a car with the white gauges. Not because of the look. It would have just bugged me every time I looked at them over the price they charge. You also lose the T branding... I don't mind paying for stuff (PCCB, RAS, FB) at the price P charges for a marked benefit. For me, the T without the T interior felt naked.
If it is going to be cosmetic, as the above changes between specs are, it needs to sing to you. Go with what moves you. Good luck!
