Finally a sunny day today after a week+ of rain and It's so good to drive the car again. Getting the itch to mod the car(HREs and High flow cats) but have to decide if I'm going to keep the Car or go for the GT4 when its available.
Just put a deposit on a GT Silver with only black wheels, glass sunroof and Chrono cost options. Will be my 4th Porsche (987 base, 991.1 C2S, 991.2 C2 previously) but first one I'm buying rather than leasing. Also moving back to manual after PDK in both 911s. After seeing the 992, I think this car will remain a bit special and keep me smiling for years. So no more dating. I'm getting married.

The 992 has done wonders for 991 appeal (which was strong to begin with). Congrats and enjoy. It's a terrific little car. Last of the narrow body.

Smart purchase. As said above, last of the narrow bodied GT cars and it's just the ultimate 911 in my opinion. Combined with lower production numbers...feels like a special car.

Freshly washed (for the first time) after putting some break-in miles on her on some twisty roads this morning. Definitely need to work on my photography skills to make black look the best. So nice not having to spend a ton of time on cleaning wheels - thanks PCCB!
I’m not much of a photographer neither, but this was today in Miami after a rainy start to the day. Nice afternoon for a drive to nowhere in particular. I just pased 2000 miles this week. It’s difficult to find open space to take the 911 near red line, always traffic and way faster then the Normal flow. But the engine sounds so good now that I go above 4000 rpms. It was the sound I was missing with my 718 Cayman GTS (great car! ). I found an empty street to do multiple full stops from 60-70 mph to try and reduce the brake squealing. It helped for sure, but with normal traffic it is almost impossible to be aggressive with the brakes
