Went for a cruise with a 458. Beautiful morning along the lake shore.

Nice! Is that park right outside of Lake Forest? Looks familiar. Nice T! How does it compare to the 458?

Thanks, South of LF somewhere (Im new to the area). The 458 and the T are different animals. The 911 is so much more refined, has so much more grip (I have ****tty P Zero and ferrari has Ps4s, so its not the tire). The Ferrari is LOUD (this one is NA) and violent. The transmission is jerky and more aggressive than PDK. This car was made for track, and its not as comfortable as the T. However, was fortunate enough to drive the 458 going back and I felt like a complete boss... all the milfs were eyeballing me and thumbs up everywhere. Nobody even looked at me in the T, lol.
Its a bit unfair of a comparison actually. Interestingly, I have the champion tune, and the ferrari cannot catch me on the street (except on the highway). The T is made for destroying twisty roads. We even did a couple of pulls and gears 2-3 up to 100 mph its dead even. Above 100-110 the ferrari walks away. It also has VERY short gear ratios, I feels like 50% shorter. Nonetheless, I was shocked how fast the T is with an exhaust and tune. Basically 458 quick. The turbos just run out of juice 110-120 mph. A tuned GTS would probably walk it down low and it would be a wash at high speed.

Did some miles in the mountains yesterday outside of Asheville, checked out a piece of land that a freind is working on. They plan to clean up the bus and set up as a camper along with adding some more RV hook up site. Could be cool. And I got to put that Front Axle Lift to good use.

Could you please post some more pics, especially of the whole car? I must say this looks fantastic. Much better than the photos on Spoliernation's website.

Also, just wanted to say that im new to this forum but have been super inspired by what everyone here has been doing and sharing with their T's. Can't wait to get mine next week.

Default Carrera T Cosmetic Enhancements

My 18 T came with ceramics, RWS, logo delete and buckets (LWB).
I added
GT3 steering wheel trim black
Clear LED turn reflectors
GT3 Touring Rear Spoiler
Houndstooth inserts, replacing Alcantara
Classic 911T logo on rear grill
Quite pleased with the result, however I might paint the logo Agate Grey to remove the
incorrect chrome finish.

@Arezzo Nice! I like the steering wheel, what part number is that? Is it OEM?

The GT silvers above
