Yes bumper had to come off for sure.

I cut the grill material with snips and then just used my fingers to make the bends.

any concerns removing the louvres? Does it just take engine longer to heat up?

Yes, that was just to take the pic, didn't mean to imply it traveled through the car into the passenger compartment!

Great grill substitue instead of buying the zensports , how many bolts and time did it take to remove front bumper ??????????

A loooooong time ago a tire and wheel flew off a fast moving truck and headed for the windshield of my 1971 911 T which was going in the other direction on a two lane road--not sure how that could happen but I vividly recall, 40 or so years later, that it did. Fortunately, you think right in that car and it goes right and so the wheel/tire hit the left front fender instead of the windshield. Very scary, though.
