Far more likely. I might suggest that the motor and guides weigh a decent amount, but there is almost no chance it weights 115lbs.

Also, i do not like sunroofs. when i can i order cars without. my previous 991 had the metal roof, my current car has the glass. wish it didnt because i dont like the light. i am vampire.
the Glass may weigh 23lbs alone, the whole mechanism and frame along with glass weighs 115lbs. Which is not a lot considering the whole system.

he is talking about the just the glass weight and not even for the panoramic glass.

Fast forward to 34minutes. Station 14. You can also see the installation and size of the whole assembly for the panoramic roof. Video mentions weight of 115lbs.

This appears to be the entire targa top for a 997. This included the back glass as well as the sunroof and mechanicals. Still, only ~115 lbs.

Yes, that is for one of the old "Targas," not for one of the current glass roofs.

There is no “Panoramic Glass” for the 991. It is glass or steel sunroof or no sunroof.

Completely different roof than the 991. FAR more glass. The ENTIRE glass roof slid back on that one. Apples and oranges.

Personally I think the 991’s look better with no sunroof. ZAC for the GTS on order.

It's gorgeous! So wish I could have done a PTS on my incoming T, but I guess I can always wrap it to something interesting at some point.
