Blackmill Performance Wind Deflector
#16
A fellow track club member had these on his GT3 and it eliminated the wind's effects. I got home that day and ordered my set. They work very well and they're mostly unnoticeable.

Have the AWE on my 991 and work great. Little to no buffet at speed compared to without and with windows up completely silent. Depending on model tho can be a bit of a pain to install (door panels off vs quick quarter panel - window install). Don't know about Blackmill but would suspect the same in terms of function. Looks like aesthetics and price delta are you only decision points here.

I imagine it could be as you are in Canada and we / they would be shipping from the US. If you need more accurate shipping pricing, I'd be happy to help!

Are those Blackmill logos just stickers? Do they come off cleanly?

I have the AWE ones. I like the OEM look but it seems that these ones work better. The fins on them are obviously bigger so it stands to reason there's some truth to that.
The AWE ones made a big difference in reducing the buffeting to the point where it's not painful anymore. It's still definitely there up over 100 mph though. What used to be physically painful like a machine gun being fired inside the car at speeds over 85 or so is now only mildly annoying at speeds up over 100. So I'm VERY happy to have them. But if it could be eliminated completely so as not to wreak havoc on the audio on my dashcam I might consider changing to these ones.

Ive had both. If you want best looking get AWE. If you want the ones that deflect the most air get blackmill......

With the AWE I noticed in certain circumstances there would still be buffeting. Like if you were going through a curve at highway speed, or if there was a crosswind or even just the way air flows around traffic, some buffeting would happen. No where near what it was stock but still there every once and a while. But the Blackmill product gets rid of the issue completely. Both work as advertised, just one is marginally better than the other at the task while the other looks better doing it. LOL!!
For me I'm sticking with the Blackmill.... YMMV.....
