Question Is 31/37 working ok on the 911 T ?

Hey guys,

I have the 20" P-Zeros. For the "Standard Partly Loaded" the manual suggests 31F and 37R. Does this seem to work for around town driving with just me in the car?

Thanks

Comfort tire pressure for the T, partly loaded, is 29/31. You might want to try that for a nicer ride.

Jeez that seems awfully low, I saw that in the owners manual. I don't mind a firmer ride at all. I'm basically looking for that perfect PSI for handling, tire life and ride. Comfort partly loaded (29/31) and the door jamb setting of (35/45) seem far apart and something must suffer on either of those settings...more than likely tire wear on both ends of the spectrum.

What do you run Hurricane?

Cheers

Comfort, partial load is 29/33 for the 991.2GTS - I usually run about 2 psi higher or close to that, depending on temperatures and loss of pressure over time, but never under. I usually run the same for autocross.

The one on the door jam is for driving in excess of 165 mph. Lots of dealers will send cars off with that pressure and it is like driving on rocks.

Because racecar.

What do you suggest for maximum grip off a launch and best psi for FULL LOAD.

No more comfort talk!

A full load is passengers all around and a full frunk. I am running 245 f and 305 r and I set at 31 f x 35 r. No need to run high pressure for street driving. Car will misbehave.

Is this why my ride feels jarring over highway extensions/bumps through corners? The rear end began to feel like an M4.. Perhaps my pressures are too high...

Would cold pressures of 33f/36r be safe for 160mph+?

It was cold enough this weekend, that for a little while I had under-inflated tires. they warmed up to 30/32.

Is that 29/31 your cold tire (starting out) temp pick?

In cold temps, since I usually add 2 psi, I am pretty close to 29/33 as a cold temp. If lower than that, I will add more air.

The 991.2gts really says 29/33? I have a .2s and trying to figure out the right psi. I run 32/34 right now. Wonder why the gts is that low, the sticker says 31/37 for the s.

29/31 for the 991.2S for comfort, partial load

Interesting, anyone know where the 31/37 comes from that on the sticker?

Where are you driving at 160mph or more? If you are tracking the car you should check your temps regularly. If you are driving 160mph on the street let me know where you live so I can avoid it.

Standard tire pressure (not comfort), partial load, for speeds in excess of 165 mph for the 991.2S.
