I have full PPF but my car has gotten hammered with road debris and the like. The paint is still fine but the PPF has noticeable marks/nicks on it so I got some new stone guards since this area is the worst. I don't think the pics do them justice but I really like them. Still need to adjust exactly how they sit but well pleased with them. Thoughts?
Some like the look and that’s fine if you do.
I plan to just redo the PPF when needed on mine.
as for placement. They look pretty good. Something jumps out to me as needing to be slightly higher, but that might be my familiarity with how the turbos look.

MagnaGraphix - His website is old/not updated so just call him. Nice guy but took forever to get them. If you order, just be sure to follow up in a few weeks to remind him to ship. I really think they look much better in person.
I like these a lot on this car, and think the placement looks good.
for a while I didn’t like these on 991’s, and couldn’t figure out why, and noticed on air cooled 911’s the bottom edge of the guard merges w a nice thick horizontal black trim line (almost making a shark fin on the waterline thing!), this obvious line doesn’t exist on modern Porsche’s, so makes the guard “float” in a very different way. But on yours you hug that horizontal crease and that looks right.
also I think black on silver is a little more subtle than some colors would look, so that might help a bit too.
My car only has around 1300 miles and already the ppf is starting to get small nicks in this exact area. May need to look into this. Thinking they might blend in well as my car is black.
On my Carrera T, after only 3 months the stock clear film is pretty beat up thanks to the crumbling infrastructure of the Northeast USA. I may give these a try. With a black car they shouldn't look too bad.
Question - do the magnetic ones cover more surface area than the stock clear guards/film? To my eye they do and that would be desirable.

My stock film was removed when I went full PPF but they seem to be at least slightly larger, but probably not by a lot.

Stock clear film? Do they .2's still come with the film on this area from the factory?
