Default Back in the saddle tomorrow, finally

My poor '18 GTS finally comes back to life tomorrow. Took delivery on 1/26/18, and the poor car only has 1350 miles on it. Three weeks after delivery I got rear-ended, and had to wait 3 months to get it into a PACC, so drove it sparingly around town during that time. Finally got into the body shop, and it took 6 weeks to get back, almost exclusively waiting for parts from the fatherland. A week and a half job stretched into a 6 week job. Got the car back just in time to put it away for the summer while I was in NH. Just got back to FL today, and will have to let some air out of the tires, and disconnect the CTEK, and see if it still runs tomorrow. Wish me luck. At least there was a green light on the CTEK.

Good luck and enjoy. Spent some time in NH this summer myself. Beautiful and cool.

Sorry to hear that. I feel your pain. Hope it runs fine.

I hope you are being compensated for both aggravation/loss of use, and diminished value.

I'm in the process of doing that now. Hopefully this can be resolved w/o a firefight. Claim adjuster readily acknowledged it was a real thing with high end cars rather than playing dumb, which I guess is a positive. We've traded info & thoughts on the subject, so are in the negotiation phase.

Good luck, and enjoy the re-introduction process! I always like to be away from the car for a while then get back in and learn again how fun it is.
