Vektor Performance Exhaust... Hitting the mark?
#18
I really like what I have seen from Vektor in the past and am sure this will be quality, but I would love to see some more pictures of the exhaust, maybe zoomed out to get the full exhaust in the picture.
I know every manufacturer posts videos of their exhausts to get an idea of the subjective sound but I’ve always wanted to see a decibel meter for what the baseline is from stock (pse/nonpse)and the product being sold, at idle and various fixed rpm’s (seems like people want to know if the vehicle is under load, neutral, or dyno too) That way for those people like me that want some data, it’s available. It will be exciting to see this new product, especially since I am non-pse!

Post #1 has a vid of the different modes. In short, when using this setup, what used to be sport is nor normal mode and Sport now bypasses the muffler; straight out the cat. The OEM cats muffle quite a bit, so it's not as loud as you'd think. It is louder for sure, but I was expecting something on the level of deafening, and it's not that.

I was watching a PCA video the other day where they visited TPC Racing and they had a GT2RS up on the lift. The GT2RS has the same layout with a valve on a pipe coming straight out of the cat. If it works for the GT2RS, it should be a pretty solid concept!
