Good luck, and what I can tell you, if you find one you like, I would move on it...they don't stay around too long...I would actually be curious as to the build...you are almost in GTS $$$ @ $155K.

Oh, and if you buy an executive car, make sure that they agree to show it as a NEW car on the sales/titling documents. I bought a left over, never titled, warranty punched, demo car with 300 miles on it once, and the paperwork showed it as a USED car purchase. I was pissed but the dealer claimed that's how they had to show it, even though the car was never titled.
Thanks for the heads up. Dealer claims it is being sold as New. I'm thinking $140k is a sound offer.

Where is the dealer located? Its nearing the end of the driving season if its near you in NY. His pricing seems pretty steep to me. I tend to think something more in the 7-9% off range would be in order since it has 1650 miles on it and will soon be a model year old. His discount seems stingy even if it had an extended CPO warranty included (which I assume it does not).

Correct in NY....no extended warranty....just the original 4 year with clock ticking from 01/2018.
I don't care what his proposed discount is....I disregard that....I think a good offer is $140K which is 10% off....thoughts ?

The partial loss of warranty is significant. I would offer 140 which I think is very reasonable and absolutely not go over 145K (even that is high, only ~7% discount). If you were selling/trading the same car to a dealer, you'd be lucky to get 125K.

I think that is a reasonable starting point.

You mean order a new 2019 ?
Are there allocations?
I could ask my local dealer about it.
What does a nicely specced T4 GTS run ?

GTS allocations are hard to find, especially for a Targa, but my SA has one more Targa GTS allocation ( I got one from him), which would be discounted, just as he has for several of us here. The dealer is in Florida so you would have to get a dealer close to you to do a Courtesy Delivery (Porsche pays the dealer for the PDI). Otherwise you would have to pick it up in FL or at the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta.

See attached, and as mentioned, got almost 7% off...sorry for the crappy scan...from the dealer that way. I have to add, I pulled mine off the showroom floor, not an order.

I should ask my local dealer if he has an allocation first since I never approached him about it.
I just saw the T4S in question and it caught my eye.
Would make more sense to inquire about ordering new if I can get that sort of discount.

Wes is right, what a trip that would be, starting at the Porsche Experience Center of course!

I looked all over for months for the right car and I am just too picky when it comes to colors and options to buy pre-owned so I had to order a new one. If your dealer cannot get you an allocation let me know and I will pass along the contact info, or if they will offer a nice discount. Keep in mind that allocations are getting very scarce so if you are serious I would advise looking it sooner than later.
