Today was a good day to tackle this project. 19 degrees outside and significant snow expected. I received the parts over the last two weeks. Ordered the light from the auction site and possibly from a member here? who removed it from his car. They already tinted it to match or at least closely match the tinted RS taillights. I ordered the little voltage 12v to 5v reducer from Amazon and the connector/pigtail from Stan one of the posters to this thread who did the mod on his .2. I also ordered low voltage "T" splice from Amazon which worked out well for tapping into one of the tag lights. It was pretty straight forward once I set the game plan. I used shrink-wrap to protect the connections and secured the voltage reducer to the inside of the bumper cover with heavy gauge snap velcro so it doesn't rattle around in the back. Not sure how much I like it yet. Unlike the .2 light, the .1 light does not connect visually to the taillights when illuminated. It seems Porsche changed the internals to do just that on the .2 version. Wish there was someway to correct this or fit the .2 light, but it seems that's not possible. I'll keep it on for a while. The car will be receiving paint correction and new PPF in the coming months, so I'll have some time to come to a conclusion. Pics below.

It seems that I am in the minority that prefers no light bar. I recently bought a 2019 C4S and would like to fit the black trim piece from the C2 GTS that goes between the rear lights. If anyone has done the light bar conversion on a GTS and would be willing to part with the trim piece, please message me on this forum. I can't seem to find the part listed with any of the usual parts vendors, which is unusual. Thank you in advance for any replies or leads.
I'll be putting my light bar and the associated harness along with my wire spice solution and the voltage drop transformer up in the marketplace in the next week or so. This will be a plug and play package for the 991.1. You can see my install further up in the thread. Just didn't grow on me. Went back to stock. I'll be pulling the bumper to replace the air filters and that's when I'll grab the wiring bits.

Paul, You will want to check to see if unplugging the center light will send an error code. You may need to make a plug-in that completes the circuit where the light has been removed.

I appreciate you pointing this out. Although I have not unplugged it yet, you are almost certainly right that I'll encounter some type of error code. Thankfully it is easy to make a workaround.
Another option I've considered if I can't find the GTS part is to locate a faulty light bar and then have it colour matched to the car. Again, I recognize that I'll need to deal with the error code.
If anyone is interested, I posted a center light bar/reflector for sale in the Marketplace. I'm including the wiring harness and step-down transformer to make this a plug and play install. Link
