This has to my favorite mod. The spool response time is noticeably faster, the quality is 10/10 as is the fit. On my install I ditched the OEM trisquare nuts and replaced them with 12mm hex titanium nuts. This made install a snap as its difficult to get the trisquare bit around some of the bends in the headers..

Thanks for the post and feedback!!

Second the request on the nuts. Have you used this style nuts before in this kind of application? I know under the right conditions Ti fasteners can be notorious for seizing unless Ti specific anti-seize is used. If this works well, would be a nice option to offer.

I have seen these on motorcycle exhaust before, I believe that is what these are intended for. I did use a dab of anit-seize on each. We will see what happens, I have checked them a few times to see if the have come loose and all is well so far...

One set of headers from the next batch coming back with Swain Tech's Multi-Layer Ceramic Coating is unspoken for. Shoot us a PM if you're interested.

APR has a customer car on their dyno currently with our Vektor Perfomance headers paired with hybrid turbos from Pure Turbo. It currently sits at 620whp on 93 octane. We would also guess that it has intercoolers. This matches the power that the APR GTS Stage 1 makes on E85. At the end of APR's recent video (46:12), they crank up the car. Based on the sound, we would guess the car also has cat bypass pipes. You can hear the even and distinct pulses from our equal length headers.

I installed my set of Vektor headers last week on my T. Perfect fit, super easy to install and a definite improvement in sound. Changed the tone of the sound completely. Just waiting for the ‘at home’ version of APR for a mild tune.

I'm liking the smoother tone of the equal length vektor headers. Can one run these headers with the rest of the exhaust stock?
Are there any clips of the headers feeding to 400 cell OE cats? Secondly, can one change headers, and or headers and cats without an ECU flash? Will that cause errors on stock programming I mean? Ideally I'd like to only do headers for now. On an otherwise stock car. With soul sport cats as the next change. I'm looking for tone change over volume. While also wanting to minimize turbo sound, not enhance it.

Yes you can swap headers only without changing anything else. 100% stock plus headers, no problem.
Based on my experience I would do soul cats before headers. And if you do at the same time, you'll save time as you repeat some steps, specifically the cat heat shields

Thank you. Good to know. Was thinking of sport cats first as the logical step, but something about those coated headers is calling me. Your car sounds great. Likely doing both at once is the play.
