Front Axle Lift Question
#31
I have an '18 GTS w/SPASM (no FAL), and can't figure what all the anguish is about front end scraping. The car is 20mm lower than a base 911, but that car is hideously high. My 911 GTS feels like a lifted 4X4 compared to my '15 Cayman S w/X73 sport suspension. In fairness, I likely would feel differently if I lived in San Francisco, but I have yet to scrape anywhere that my Cayman S would drag on.

All depends what you have to drive over and what can or can't be avoided.
The other good thing is it's an option, so you don't have to buy it. On the otherhand, having it means you never encounter the problem to begin with.

My cayman scraped everywhere, including my driveway. On my driveway, even the 45 degree approach didnt always work.
The FAL on my 911 fixed that. I have scraped a couple of times on the 911 on places I didnt use it
