My only reget on my build was not going with the deviated stitching in color, but just seemed so unreasonable in price for what is essentially a change of thread spool on full leather interior......had to draw the line somewhere.

I also prefer the stock black bushed aluminum trim over painted trim, but I like a little more subdued vs in your face interior. Surface also feels nicer (warmer/richer) than the shiny painted surface that has a plastic appearance.

Dear friends,

I've updated my build: PKTSRHQ1

http://cc.porsche.com/icc_pcna/ccCal...bcode=PKCV2RR2

I've included the multi-function GT leather wrapped wheel, however, the pictures below are incorrect FYI.

My deposit is in and the build is locked on Monday July 30th! Please have a look and make suggestions; thank you.

Nice build. I’d probably add pdcc and pccb...and burmaster. Gotta stop somewhere with options I suppose and you got all that critical.

Looks great, very similar to my build (Sapphire blue).
You likely know this but the brushed aluminium trim comes standard in black. I do like the contrast on yours going with the silver brushed aluminum of course but understand the black brushed alum is only avail on the GTS or GT cars.

Can’t go wrong with either.

Have you built a C4S with powerkit and other performance goodies? A GTS with alcantara delete is essentially a C4S with most of the performance options ticked. The main difference being the front facia. Going the C4S route gives you wider wheel choices. As a DD I wouldn't go with CLs, especially if you travel at all to the hinterlands, doubly so in the winter. GL with your decision.

Absolutely no issues with CLs on mine as a daily. Love the look and dealership does swaps at season change (for winter turbo S CLs) for a reasonable cost (my time is worth more to me). Also get a well built forged wheel.

The downside is that winter wheels are spendy.....but I wouldn’t swap out for 5 lugs.

C4S with power kit and SPASM is still not a GTS. Nothing wrong with the C4S of course but just doesn’t hold the same cache.

It really is, just without GTS badging.

CLs, tire width, front fascia, (interior if you like Alcantara), black brushed aluminum trim, resale value....

not knocking the 4s, and while you can get close to building a GTS via options, there are still differences....enough to warrant a diffence in resale market value and cache rightfully or wrongfully. CLs alone are worth about $15k CAD difference.

One of my friends has a 4s with power kit and spasm, other car guys aren’t nearly as excited about his 4s as they are with my 4GTS. And I actually ended up paying less for my car than he did his....

I ordered a 19 GTS yesterday too. The build lock date was also yesterday and I have essentially one day to think about what color and options to get.

Centerlocks are also 0.5" wider and are forged (=lighter and stronger) vs. cast. Not sure the weight difference but in the motorcycle world lighter unsprung weight of wheels can add significant handling quickness.

I hate the "we'll let you downgrade at no cost" pricing on options. I almost deleted SPASM by mistake by selecting PASM. Dealer didn't even catch it until we sat down and did a detailed comparison of standard features of C4S vs GTS.

Hey guys I've taken delivery of my car last week and it's been a blast to drive. It's incredibly visceral and the sound the engine makes in Sport or Sport plus mode is absolutely epic. Some of the pics below have the original Turbo S wheel set, most have my winter wheel/tire combo: FONDMETAL Monodado glossy Titanium wheels and Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4s. Thank you to everyone who made suggestions towards the final build - most people were spot on.
The dealership made a mistake and did not include Guards Red seat belts in their build sent to the Porsche factory and so they'll be installing them in the near future. I feel so fortunate to own a Porsche all-time classic. Please enjoy!

Highly recommended these. High quality and matches car perfectly and prevents all those door sill scuffs:

I had my PPF installer lay some Xpel over the door sills. Free (with install) and transparent. Love it.
