Default Rear Wing for 991.1 Carrera

I have a 2014 911 Carerra. Just a base C2 lightly optioned. Although I had to stretch to buy this car CPO I am so glad I did because its the best car I have ever owned by a long shot. As much as I love driving it the compliments I get are even better. Everyone loves this car!

I am a wing guy. I love the look of Turbo's, GT3, GT3 RS and GT2. I want to replace the motorized rear wing with a fixed wing. First choice was Vorsteiner but they are not answering my messages, tried Tag motorsports and they are doing the same. I don't want some crap with terrible fitment from China. I normally would just go OEM but I just don't like the duck tail combined with the curved wing that is the factory Aerokit for the 991. I hear horror stories about Vivid Racing...

Where can I get a quality fixed rear wing for my 911? Vorsteiner or TechArt or Caractere?

Thanks!!!

What about the ducktail without the wing? I don't like any of the wing offerings other than the GT3 and that's a bit overkill on a narrow body.

Not sure how much wing you need but Dundon has a 991 w what I think is a GT3R decklid & wing fitted, they might be able to get you some real aero

Thanks all I am considering the ducktail without the wing. It is a classic 911 look and Suncoast is great.

Also reaching out to Eric at Supreme

Although the base Carrera is the "narrow body" unless you see it next to a wide body car I think it looks wide and exotic enough to carry a wing that doesn't look out of place as long as its a quality part.

Thanks again!!!

I think others said it too...., but in skimming... PPF I think you'll be fine to leave it unwrapped. If you are talking about a dedorative wrap to change the color then a skilled shop can do this, as can the right installer with PPF for that matter.

Also, I wouldn't go to a PPF installer that wouldn't be able to get this done; even if you opt not too. The lack of skill to execute this leads me to believe that they are sub par anyways and I wouldn't trust them to do simple PPF well.

I bought a Vorsteiner spoiler and didn't like the fit and returned it. Went with the factory ducktail and really it, however it does require programming. If I did it all over again I would strongly consider the GT3 Touring spoiler option.

Vorsteiner is ****. They had to DREMEL there own product to make it fit on my e92. And it still fell off.

And what ductail did you get? I just ordered the Sport design mini wing myself. Like this members.
