991.two Nice. A gain of > 100 TQ at 3300 rpm with the tune (and supporting mods). Impressive solid +60 TQ throughout the rest of the rpm range.

It was OTS 1.04.

1.05 and 1.06 greatly smoothed out the torque so that it didn't feel like such a huge hit early on. I think it improves the feel greatly. Not to mention, backfires and the boost are now consistent with Porsche's OEM. 1.04 had backfires in Sport+ and none in Sport -- addressed with the latest releases.

Yes. They return your ECU and an Accessport to you and you can change maps whenever you want. Very easy process.

It sounds like some of the older maps had more issues with PDK cars than manual transmissions. For those of us with a manual gearbox can we still run the older maps or are they no longer available?

Check out the solution Peter did on his upgraded turbos and able to put power down. He has manual though but I believe it should help https://www.************.com/showthr...946#post830946

As for mine (manual), i did replace stock control arms with Tarett adjustable control arms and took some camber out. I was not able to put power down on 2nd gear and 3rd on protune for a base car. I now could.

PDK is a completely different animal
from manual. No problems with any maps on manual, just PDK.

LCA's to take camber out? We are on a different mission, I have adjustable LCA's and run -3.0front,-2.5 rear for the track. That definitely doesn't help with wheel spin
Horrible 60' time, but the trap speed/hp is there at 130mph on the 91 tune, and it doesn't miss the 3-4 shift.

No, upper control arms. The goal is to get rear wheel contact patch flat on ground.

Peter went different route and he has upgraded turbos (650 ps) so I thought worth checking out for you. See his comments in other thread, too. They're all there.

I think you're misunderstanding fsmich.... he's trying to NOT have the rear tire contact flat on the ground He's running -2.5 camber in the rear for max cornering grip.

M3, now that you have lived with the Stg 1 for a while do you have any additional comments, pro or con? No reliability issues attributable to the new model?
Thanks,

No, Ive actually always been a BMW guy. Ive had an M3 or M5 for the past 15 years.

You'd never guess by my screen name, lol. Same one since I started on the forums oh so many years ago at m3forum.net
I thought I recognized that username. I’ve either been on m3forum.net or this board over the same period. I had an E46 M3 from 2008-2012. Same username on m3forum. “Cutlass476”
Sold it and when back to Porsche, then AMG, now back to Porsche again. Never should have left. Welcome to Porsche, I can tell that you are already satisfied with your decision.

This chart is for a Mercedes AMG C63, not the chart for the more powerful AMG C63S (approx. 50hp+ stock) discussed above.

Best additional gains for the buck will come with BMC intake filter and either race cats or catless pipes.
You are using 93 octane, right?
