Default How can you tell how old my battery is?

I bought my 2012.5 C2S last January 2017 with around 10k miles (currently 15,300 miles). I wanted to check how old my battery is and I could not find the date. I'm attaching some pictures to see if you guys can help me. I don't know if this is still the original battery (it may be). This is not my daily driver and the car may sit sometimes for 3-4 days. I always have it with the battery maintainer connected.

The reason I wanted to check is that lately with the cold start, the battery does not feel as strong as before. By the way, the start/stop function works and the battery voltage is usually 12.4 in normal mode and 14 - 14.4 in sports mode.

If I scan the QR code, this is the information I get:

205# 999 611 070 10 #0704501 #302140322#290412 205 BA24C4T208+=

Thank you for your inputs.

it is stamped in the negative terminal post. I can’t see it clearly in the pic but it looks like “18” and “12”. The first number will be the number of the week, in this case the 18th week, May 1-7, and the second will be the year.

Yes, I just took a look and it's "18" and "12". So this is the original battery.

Thanks.

And you are on borrowed time. I would be changing that out. The maintainer can give you a false sense of security since it will have the battery topped up every time you start the car. If it is slowing down even with the maintainer, it is dying.

And Pepboys sells a good Bosch (OEM) AGM battery for less than $200 if you use their 25% off coupon. You order it on-line and pick it up in the store. Or just go to the store and ask to use the 25% off deal.

I'm definitely on borrowed time. You would think that the start/stop feature would stop functioning. It may not be as bad as I think, but I will replace it.
