Default Spoiler up on start up?

Just came home from work and noticed the spoiler was in the up position. Thought maybe I hit the console by accident, so I put down and restarted the car and it immediately went into the upright position again. I repeated this again with same results. Anybody have any ideas? On my way home I was traveling fast enough to have it deploy on its own.

Do you have the Individual Mode set for spoiler up? Were the fans running? Any obstructions under the spoiler?

Try disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery for a minute or two.

No Individual Mode.....fans not running and no obstructions as the spoiler goes down when I hit the console switch.

Did you buy JRod's old car?

I've never seen my spoiler, but I did see it today on my early morning coffee run!

Must be a switch/relay/sensor issue, probably have to have your dealer diagnose.

You car needs sex.

I recommend you park it next to a Ferrari Superfast for an evening.

Used to be that the windows would go halfway down and the spoiler would go up if the battery was discharged. Check the battery state of charge.

Yeah I did think of that...battery is original 2014...I drive the car every day and when I’m away more than 3 days it goes on Battery Tender. Just checked still showing about 80%.

Thanks all as always for the help an especially the witty responses.
Going to see if it happens in the morning, and if so I will drop by my Indie who is great.

Being as old as it is, you really should load test the battery.

Ok so a call to my indie revealed something interesting I did not know. Apparently after a “spirited” drive in hot weather, the fan will kick on (which I knew) and the spoiler will deploy when the car is stoped and turned off, to dissipate excessive heat. Never remember this happening before...but who knew?
Just an FYI.
