Nonsense. It is the only option that lets you win at autocross by only using your pinkie finger.

On a serious note, I have had PSP on all three of my 991s (including ordering it on my GTS) and like it at parking lot speeds! I autocross, too, and haven't found it to be a problem at all - but then again I am probably dodging cones at a higher speed without any steering assist.

SPASM isn't that stiff if you get PDCC - very comfortable on long trips, actually. Very nice ride with PDCC. And when you track it, you can tighten the chassis settings from normal to sport and off you go!

EDIT: I see you have PDCC in your build. In that case, SPASM won't be that harsh. I've had both PASM/PDCC and SPASM/PDCC. SPASM was a little firmer but still really comfortable on long trips. I just drove 300 miles on Sunday, visiting Civil War sites, and it was a really nice ride!

For the OP, I would definitely price out both the 4GTS and the GTS with the same options. Like you said, you get the powerkit and more in the same wide body as the S. Not sure how it would come out, but I would at least compare. As STG mentioned, you can get PASM instead of SPASM in the GTS if it is a deal breaker.

You will save money on the GTS I'm pretty sure.

Gorgeous build.

Seriously, it looks like an awesome build! Have you thought of yellow stitching instead of silver? Just a thought. With the yellow seat belts/gauges, it might really pop.

This. I have a 2017 GTS with PDCC and the ride quality is no different than my bros 2013 C4S with PDCC.

Great looking build. As others pointed out you can save money as a GTS car. I just did the config and it came in at $151K. That's more than $10K cheaper than a 4S. As a C4 GTS the gap is much smaller. About $4K cheaper. Still, it's $4K for essentially the same car. Now here's one advantage, it depreciates less. These GTS cars fall right in between Normal Carrera's and the GT cars. So at resale time, you'll have lost less. Something to consider for sure.

I priced the 4 GTS and it was $3K less but I could not get the RS Spyder rims.

It would still be well worth it to spec out the 5 lug wheels instead of center locks and buying the RS Spyder rims new from Porsche. You can still sell your new wheels that came with the car to recoup some money.

Not only are you saving money on the purchase itself, but you are retaining even more money when it comes time to sell as someone mentioned.

I would add 18 way seats. Would probably skip the power kit too and save yourself some money.

Can't get a 4GTS build.

Not sure I need 18 way seats.

Would you add the power kit if you weren't concerned about saving money? I don't want to add an after market tune, because of warranty. Right now I have basically a 4GTS for a little extra change. I removed the sun roof, and added the contrast stitching. Just saw a GT4 with black seats, yellow seat belts and GT silver stitching. Looked great.. Exterior has GT Silver, Yellow carbon ceramic calipers, and black trim. The inside has black seats, yellow accents, and GT silver. I feel it ties together really well.

Your RY accents will clash w/ SY PCCBs. I would get the rear wiper too. GTS and 18 ways unnecessary.

Wasn't it the Dude* who said, "That rug really tied the room together"? Change the dials to black, the belts to silver, the model to GTS, add Sport, and ditch the sunroof. Thank me next year when you realize how tired you are not getting of looking at that yellow dial.

*And Walter. And Donny.

i don’t think the yellow needs to match. My last car yellow breaks did not match yellow hub caps, did not match yellow tach, did not match yellow shield.
