I have offered £115k

Will see what he comes back with
You will get the car. The offer you made is reasonable as you are based in UK.

Enjoy in good health.

You were right

The offer was accepted and I left a deposit to secure the car.

I have to wait now as it needs to go and have the prep done for sale as it was a demo car so they will paint the pu bumper etc

Any tips on how I can go without the front number plate mount ?

Do not ask me how I knew that you will get the car as our US friends will be quite upset about the way they get discounts for the 911s....

Of course their MSRP are significant lower than most of EU countries therefore no any discount or minor discounts.

On the other hand in EU you can get at least 12-15% for a demo car especially like the one in your case which is highly specs and the MSRP is significant higher that US...

BTW UK is one of the best countries to buy a 911 price wise.....

As I know in UK you have the option to stick the front plate without drilling the number.

Looking forward for the photos.

Purchased the RWD variant. If I had to do it again I'd go with the 4GTS simply because I'm into tuning and performance modifications. I only have bolt ons and can spin the crap out of my rear end sometimes. 911's aren't meant to spin.

If you plan to go 500+hp go with the 4!
How you can go 500+hp only with bolt ons mods? Looking for your input as my GTS is coming in two months and I would like to reach close to 500hp.

Thank you

Headers and bypass pipes will get you very close to 500 crank hp. If you throw in other mods like IPD plenum, air filter and higher flowing mufflers you will probably achieve 500 crank hp.

With the new Cobb AP that is being released a GTS will push 500whp with just a tune and more with bolt ons. Check out the Cobb thread started by Sam.

Thank you. Yes I follow the Cobb AP although I am not quite clear his the AP will work. Wait to see the first feedback and initially receive the car...

I had a BMW M2 and I tuned it .

The first thing I changed was the cat and swapped it out for a Fabspeed sports cat . I loved how more I could hear the turbo spool post change .

That is probably the first thing I would look to do with this Carrera GTS . Not sure if Fabspeed are making the relevant part for this car but will check it out

🤣🤣

No I had a couple of M4 competitions and they needed 4 wheel drive !

The M2 was a better balanced car and actually quite fun in manual transmission

I have driven the M2 when it was just introduced. It feels really planted and secure. Tons of grip, not only at the rear but also in the front. But because of the 2/RWD it is also playful. That’s exactly why I ordered my GTS as 2/RWD. I don’t have to use or drive it as a daily and in winter conditions. And that shouldn’t even be a problem with the immense grip it has and the PSM safety aids.
