Looking at a 2012 C2S Opinions on price please
I'm new to 991.... currently own a 993 for last 15 yrs. I am looking at a 2012 C2S, 22,500 miles, agate grey with carrera red interior with following build:
Dealer's asking $69,950. What do you think about the price? Much appreciate your inputs.

Pretty cool build. Price seems pretty reasonable but always try for a few grand less....they expect it!
The 991 has been bullet proof so nothing you really need to worry about except that routine maintenance has been done and documented as required.
Good luck!

If you like the natural leather interior, that is a pretty highly optioned car. Very nice build!

Spiderv6, thanks for the advice re: pricing and bullet proof 991.1
Thanks koala, I'm buying the 991 for my wife and she loves red leather interior (me too).

Agree with Sam above.....$63k to the plus.....how much to the plus is up to you!

I agree with this input. I just bought a 2012 Carrera S with a similar build. Rotors and tires should be in great shape. Check that the door trim at the top where it transitions to the windows isn't separating. Open the door and look at the end view of the door. Rennlist folks highlighted this issue on 991.1's. Mine had this issue too and it was repaired under CPO warranty. I love my 991.1. Good luck.

Beautiful almost new 911, nice find. I'm assuming with low mileage like that it was likely garaged and cared for? Offer them 3 to 5k less, you'll likely end up with a good one.

In February 2017 I purchased a non-CPO 2012 with a very similar build, Lime Gold in color with black leather interior, and 24k miles. I paid $62K and the only issue I had in the first year was the door lock button on the driver side stopped working. If the car you are looking at has not had the 4 year/40K mile service you will have to have that performed. It cost me a little over $1500 in Alabama. Good luck!
