She bought me the 911 for my 50th birthday. 11/10.
She is, however, an inveterate back seat driver. So, I'll have to drop her a point for that!

My wife rates 10 out of 10. She’s not really a car person, although her last two cars have been a Cayenne S and and Audi SQ5.
She’s the one who convinced me to get into cabriolets after my first 911 coupe. That was brilliant. She loves twisty mountain roads with the top down, as long as I don’t get crazy. She loves PCA tours and events. She actually just suggested a trip to Europe for a Porsche tour for our next milestone anniversary! Score!

My wife found my 991.1 on HFS...and negotiated the deal.
She hasn’t even sat in the car, ever.
Secretly, I think she digs it. One of the reasons I asked her out (when we were in high school) originally is that she could drive a manual (in her grey market 323i).
I think this averages to a 10/10.

10 out of 10.
She encouraged me to buy my first Porsche a 2010 Cayman S instead of a new Corvette. She had no problem
when I upgraded to a 2012 CS. When I went to look a a new (2015 TTS) I remember asking her will this affect
our retirement, she said no, buy it. Of course I had to buy her a new Cayenne Diesel the same day. But that's ok.
Love driving with her all over Mass/NH she always tells me don't let anyone pass us. She just has a hard time
getting out of the car sometimes says it's too low. She's a keeper.

After 42 years of marriage, 10+. She’s the best—she lets me buy Porsches. In fact, my approach has been to buy couple year old P-cars, it was her idea to get a new one. As a passenger though, her rating falls off. Her code to slow down in the twisty bits is, “ You’re freaking me out!”. Get her behind the wheel though and she’s racing Corvettes on the freeway!

When I met my wife in 1969 she had an MGB and could drive it. well. Unfortunately, I sold it after we married because it had a bent frame.and then bought her a new 1974 914 2.0 liter. During the first 6 months the 914 left her on foot with vapor lock many times. She demanded reasonable transportation so I bought her American cars that were no fun. I then drove the 914 myself for the next 9 years. It was not flawless, but I was happy. In 1987 I began to be infatuated with 911s. I bought new 911s from 1987 through 2015. Except for a 2013 991 PDK, all were manual. To this day she drives all of them frequently. As a matter of fact, when I bought my 2015 991 GTS I was having trouble with the first drop-down pedals I have ever experienced after 6 Porsches. My wife got into it and helped me figure out drop-down pedals.
.
She is a chief in the 991.1 GTS yet she does not like to drive it because she is afraid of my response to damage. I have never blamed her for anything other than she wrecked her 2014 Ford Taurus SHO, a magnificent car. I preferred to attend to her hospitalization rather than the car. Thus we are married and still in love.
After all, what is more important? A woman you love or a high end sports car that reverberates in your genitals. Sorry, I do not prefer a response (particularly from Lex).. I prefer the former. The latter has come with the former.
Some may have heard this from me previously but please indulge me kindly (yes, you too Lex, you might mature). Each time I have bought a new Porsche, the first thing I do is call my wife (Lex objects to this strategy so he must have great insight). I tell her the details and relate that "NO" is an acceptable answer that will not set me enraged or despondent. She always says," GO FOR IT".. I have pleaded with her to say NO.. I wish she would say NO some time so I can feel validated. She has kept me in Porsches very well. I am sure Lex has a great deal to say. Please bring it on! Lex, please bring on your repulsive comments. They are expected. and unwarrented..

10 out of 10. She is a car person. Grew up around racing. Her Dad has had teams in the Grand Am Rolex Series, United Tudor Series and most recently NASCAR. She told me to stop talking about a 911 and just buy one. On our first date she said she would be happy living above a 10 car garage. It was at that moment I knew I had a good one. You guys enjoy the Wife and car. It goes by so fast.

My wife treats my 911 as her competition.
Need I say more?
My girlfriend on the other hand loves it...

She bought me my RS4 in 2008 and had it trailered to our house from Houston. Then, after 6 years of fun in that car, she sold it while I was in Korea for a year. I came home to my 911 in the garage. Now for my 50th she is letting me order a very well optioned GTS (deposit in, allocation pending). She drives an X3 35 and may have a heavier foot than me based purely on speeding tickets!
I have always enjoyed cars and she makes it happen!
