Beautiful car ... you’re going to love it. In regards to the warranty, make a few calls to some other dealers to get a price check. I am a strong believer in having a warranty on these cars, the pdk transmission alone I believe is around $20k. Someone here could correct me if I’m wrong but that is what they quoted my brother in law on his panamera
What is the PDK upgrade? I have a 991.1 C2S and don't really care for how it shifts in auto mode. It shifts way too soon for my tastes, I end up driving in manual mode most of the time.
As part of the Cobb AP tune package there is an option to install the PDK Upgrade in either a Sport or Aggressive mode. I chose sport as it is much more driveable. It changes the shift points in all modes, normal, sport and sport plus. In manual the shifting is more GT3 like and in auto is stretching the rpms so the shift points are more driveable.

I grew up on manuals and loved the engagement and still do, however time marches on. There is nothing that can compare to the the PDK, except the PDK S. Most of my track buddies drive manuals and look at me like I am a poser with PDK. I don't care and love to be on a straight and watch them lose a couple of tenths and distance with every shift. It brings a smile to my face. For the life of me, I can't figure why anyone would drive a manual. If one wants to be a purist, I get that but then don't drive a care that is a rolling computer.
I can’t figure out why some people don’t get that people like different things. I don’t know why some people are fascinated with watches and collect them and spend tens of thousands on them. Most people
dont understand why someone would have multiple cars and spend so much money on them.
people are different. Manuals are challenging and fun to me and many others. Some like pdk. Nothing wrong with either one.
op, good luck. Pdk is not for me but I can certainly appreciate it. Love the exterior color on the turbo too!
