530WHP 991.2 BOOSTADDICT STAGE 1 REVIEW

This is my car.
All I wanted was a refund, I don’t know why you guys believe sticky that it is my dads car because he is 87.. also the car pulls are fine, Before I even raced any car I had already and engine light (P2262) I asked Alex and he said it’s just a sensor he forgot to block.

Thanks, yeah I put my trust in a con, hopefully everything works out on my side. I do not understand why he can not just refund me, I paid for a specific tune and product which he guaranteed a specific performance output, then the first day I get the car from the shop CEL (P2262) arises, I confront him and he acts like he has no idea, when he knew the whole time my car is a Carrera S but assumed the Carrera Base tune that Gintani has would also apply and work for my vehicle. He sold me a dream, and it did not work so he wanted me to be a test car so he can develop the ECU tune with alex and sell it to another idiot like me who believes his lies.

Thanks, STG! I had a lot of fun in that thread (and it also cost me a lot of $$$ hahaha!)
I have to admit that this has been pretty good therapy this summer:
Took it out for my first autocross this weekend with the new car...and OMG this thing is freaking fast. And the handling (with RAS) was amazing.
My powerkit .1S was marginally quicker than my previous .1S......this .2GTS is on another level. The sound may be "pretty good" instead of "awesome" but that is quickly forgotten when your eyeballs pushed back into your head.
Sorry for the thread hijack! (And both .1 and .2 cars are awesome - no question! Like trying to pick your favorite supermodel - I like blondes, brunettes and redheads. )

I came from Corvettes (had a C5 [345hp] and a C6 [400hp]) for 14 years before moving to my first 911 (a 991S). The handling and feel of the 911 was amazing but the acceleration didn't quite feel as brisk and immediate as the V-8s with their massive amount of torque. While winding up the engine to hear that glorious flat six sound was fun, waiting for the power to come on wasn't necessarily so. Not to mention the stumble. The .2 reminds me a lot more of the Corvette experience - power comes on early and consistently. It's like the difference from "quick" to "OH MY GAWD that's quick."
It took me a little while to get used to the .1 sound coming from V-8s. I liked it, of course, and grew to love it but the rumble and roar of an angry V-8 is in another class. There is definitely a difference between a powerkit .1S and a regular .1S - a deeper bark. Both cars, but especially the powerkit .1S, received many complements on the sound at PCA autocrosses. As a matter of fact, more than once did I have someone ask me if my exhaust was after market - the .1S w/powerkit sounded that good!
The .2 sound truly sounds like a Porsche to me but it might not be as expressive as the .1 with its larger displacement. (I honestly don't hear the turbo whistle very much, if at all - maybe my hearing just doesn't do well with higher frequencies ("yanni" or "laural," anyone? )). So truthfully, I rate the sound of the .2 as "pretty good" and the .1 as "awesome," but only after rewatching my old videos and hearing what the old car sounded lie. I have heard the .2 mainly from inside the cabin (with less sound deadening with the GTS). I am sure that after a few more events I will start to get feedback on the sound on the .2 from the outside.
This may sound like heresy but I will say that last year at autocross several times I would hear a .2 (from the outside) going through the course and thought that it sounded fantastic. Unless they were running back to back, I don't think my humble ears would have been able to tell the difference from a .1, which actually surprised me.

I miss the old one, especially the aerokit cup. Funny about the old one is that it would have been unlikely that I would have spec'ed a black car and certainly not one with yellow seatbelts and gauges (to match the PCCBs) - I am simply not a "yellow" guy - but it really worked on that car.
That being said, Sapphire Blue (and especially the painted interior) evokes emotions in me like a kid trying an ice cream cone for the first time. Exciting and wonderful and just makes me plain happy. So glad I was finally able to get that color!

Wow, what a thread. It was quite an undertaking trying to piece together this thread from the quotes since the most entertaining posts were all deleted.
I worry about which mechanic at the dealership is changing the oil in my car. Can't even imagine handing my car over to some fly-by-night hack for the car equivalent of open heart surgery.

Yes but you clearly are not getting the priceless value of beating some kid in a bimmer at the light Saturday night.
