Momentum Porsche (Houston) wanted $400+ for an oil change on my Macan S. I told them to pound sand and took it to an indy.

I couldnt agree more. The benefits are endless. Car recently got scratched (paint) on front corner during service......service manager has become a friend.....he had the entire car polished and detailed in and out. I've had warranty work completed at no cost after warranty had run out. If anything happens with car and its only been serviced in one place problem can't be blamed on anyone else. Life is about relationships IMO.

That's what I always thought; hence I asked the question. Curious to see what everyone uses and why.

I have no rational reason to buy a GT3 as my GTS is very fine. My next oil change is due in June. I am working on ignoring a GT3. Any advice to do so that I would be unfamiliar with would be very appreciated. I love my GTS and find the GT3 I have driven in Atlanta exceedingly uncomfortable.
If the GT3 is uncomfortable, why would you purchase it? Sounds like going from the frying pan to the fire. Are you planning on tracking the GT3?

My Porsche dealer quoted $265.00 for the oil change on my 2017 S.

I did mine recently (a 2017 911 base). I buy the Mobile 1 from Walmart and the filter and plug from the Suncoast (or whatever) in Sarasota. The oil is about $50 (8 quarts) and the filter and plug is about $35. It was fairly easy to do and will continue to do it myself. I also changed the oil in my 2013 Cayenne Diesel a couple days ago. I guess I save about $400 a year (once a year oil changes in my case) by doing this myself (based on two vehicles)
