Default Sport Design Aerokit vs Cup Aerokit (price advice needed too)

Looks like Suncoast has these kits on sale right now. I've been longing for the ducktail for a while now, but the Cup Aerokit spoiler looks pretty mean too.

Any thoughts on one vs the other? Does this option typically help or hurt resale? I already have a polarizing combo (991.1 S Racing Yellow with 7MT) - not looking to sell any time soon, but who knows, if I get the itch it could happen any time.

Also, I am getting a quote of $1300 from my local Porsche dealer for full prep/paint/install. Seems reasonable - thoughts?

No resale issue. Just keep the old lid.

It just comes down to personal preference. The duck looks really cool but I had the Aerokit cup on my last 911 and loved it (wish they offered something similar on the 991.2). You will find many duck lovers on here, too.

MY car came with the XAT option (Sport Design) so I can't comment on the costs. The ducktail was a "must have" for me when searching for my car. I can't see that either style would do anything but help resale value, but what could negatively affect resale value is paint that does not match well. Mismatched panels drive me nuts and would take any car off the table for me.

i have the cup aero kit from the factory, and I love it.

the only difference between sport vs cup are the front sport lip, i like the cup version better myself.

for that price, does that include install? if so, that is a pretty good deal!! I think they are a 4000 option when you ordered it (maybe more...?).
