Yes, it's been nice to drive a free, or close to a free, GTS for the past 2+ years.
When you factor in insurance, initial and ongoing car taxes in CT, full wrap, and the "opportunity cost" with not having invested the money, we would never really get our money back.

Also a word of caution that the economy is really strong right now and 911 allocations are scarce as are discounts and used 911s in general. If the economy dips you'll see how strong prices are, not, super fast for both .1s and .2s....

^Just curious, what did you pay for your GTS? I've noticed a decline in 991.1 GTS prices since I was searching until now (Nov/Dec 2017-Jan 2018). Prices were anywhere from low $110k- low $120k.

I am now seeing them in the high $90's(carmax) to mid to high $100's CPO with a few expceptions still in that low $110k range.

I bought a '15, new, in April of '16, $145k+ build for 112, about 23% off.

Holy smokes! That's the best deal I've ever heard of on a new 991.

Not everyone is as lucky I guess.

The dealer was motivated and worked with me.

A CT Porsche dealer offered me $28,000 on my 2007 911. I sold it for $38,000 private sale a month later. It took one week to sell it on Craig’s list.
