+1. Nice gesture, thank you!

BTW, the picture with the film cut around the letters made me sick. That is an atrocity!

Here's a photo from the side. If you look closely you can see it doesn't come up perfectly under the handle, but I hadn't even noticed until I looked at this photo.

I just got mine installed. My installer said not to put any Carnuaba wax on the film and it may cause yellowing long term. I would just stick to Ceremic coating plus Gliss

If you watch any of the YouTube stuff by Esoteric Car Care, Todd also recommends against putting products on top of coated cars that are not coating specific products. No waxes, no quick detailers, no sealants, etc. His clear favorite topping (which can also be used as a drying aid) is Cosmic Spritz by Polish Angel. I just coated my Macan last weekend with 2 coats of Kamikaze Miyabi Coat, including on the Xpel PPF film that was just applied, and the Cosmic Spritz is arriving today which I will apply tonight. I have high hopes for a brilliant finish when it's done.

Looking forward to doing a full Ceramic coating this weekend, and a Carnauba Wax treatment the following week. Will make sure to post some pics with the results.
ceramic coating AND carnauba on top of PPF on entire car? I dont get it. Ceramic is supposed to alleviate the need for waxing isnt it?

Carnauba to some eyes adds a depth, warmth, and shine that coatings lack.

I agree but On plastic too? On top of Ceramic? Just curious as it sounds like way overkill to me.

Just got back from the shop. John is super professional and seems like a very stand up guy. I've got my car booked for next week.

I was a sceptic of Xpel for a long time having heard, first hand from owners, some of the challenges they faced when requesting warrantee replacement of film.

So much so, that I had my GT4 done in Suntec.

However, John Gray did my GTS in Xpel and I couldn't be happier. Not only does the clarity of the film live up to its reputation and self healing, but John is a true enthusiast committed to his attention to detail.

If I could only get ahold of a GT3RS allocation I would happily have John cover that in Xpel as well.

I would also like to highly recommend John Gray and Gulf Coast Auto Shield. I got my car back today and the Xpel Ultimate Plus install done by John and team was fantastic. The whole process was easy and extremely enjoyable. John answered all my questions and was extremely knowledgeable while providing options for future things to do for the car. Feynlab Heal lite looks like a great option for the future.

Anyone looking for a top notch installer within driving distance of Houston should reach out to Gulf Coast Auto Shield.

That is about what my car looked like after driving thru a "cloud" of lovebugs on my way to Austin... and it came off like nothing.

Following weekend I drove my wife's Q5 (with no PPF) on the same route (needed the cargo space to move my son out of the dorms) and I needed a brush and bug remover. Still can see traces of the darn bugs!

Great to hear that!

I think that the Xpel Ultimate Plus in the hands of a great installer provides great results. The difference between the Ultimate Plus and the normal Ultimate is big, and makes it completely invisible.
