I wasn't aware that with RAS you can't run 19's as winters so I'll need to find a set of 20's with Alpins or Hakka's (if possible).

I’m booked in for mid-October to switch to my winter wheel/tyre set, here in the U.K. Aiming for when temperatures are regularly at 7 degrees centigrade or below.

Hi, im looking a at a Carrera T and I want to spec the 918 bucket seats. But im not a fan of the alcantara steering wheel. Could you go down the CCX route and get it in leather or is this not a option.

Sam.

For those of you putting winter tires on your T, what wheels are you going with? Dedicated set or swapping winter tires onto the original rims? Normally I would go with a dedicated set of winter wheels/tires but the original wheels go so well with the other grey accents on the car I am having a hard time picturing it any other way.

I have bought the 19” Carrera wheels from Porsche with winter tyres fitted. Quite looking forward to seeing how my T looks with different wheels.

I can confirm - that Porsche will not do any CXX modification to T. I have it directly from Germany and tried all this already and was declined every request other than whats in the configurator

The increase in torque is probably the most surprising element. Coupled with the quicker pickup, I'm very impressed. I'm not looking to recreate my GT3 days, but the extra power definitely adds a few more smiles per mile.
Which Shortshifter did you add?

Also - not sure if my dealer will help me with the Tune

send me your info and I will start a spreadsheet. Maybe less of these than the GT3 cars.

New here and I’m about to order mine this week. Do you have the results of what you compiled so far on folks’ T specs?

Agreed I tried custom route on so little and was denied. Even something simple like regular colored 20 inch wheels, instead of the grey colored ones.

You better off selling/swapping with someone who wants the alcantara wheel.

I presume that you don't have RAS correct? If you do I've heard the 19's won't fit...can you let me know as I'm shopping for a set.
