Demand for 911T.

Demand for 911T.
Is there any real demand yet on these cars. Allocations seem scarce. Car seems to fill a void but no real market news. Heard there would be '19's but that doesn't explain why no '19 GT3's

I think a lot of the early allocations (locked in Dec/Jan) were dealer-spec'd cars, as there were no reviews out, and visibility was low (I didn't learn about the T until mid Nov, and that was happenstance seeing an "Unfiltered Truth" youtube commercial). The one's I've seen have a lot of options (MSRP north of $115K). When I started inquiring in late Nov, a number of dealers were asking 5K, 10K, 15K ADMs for allocations. Not sure if that held out. I didn't pay an ADM, and the deal at Porsche North Houston was very fair.
Allocations for configurable cars are scarce now because the word is out.
cheers!

I’m not convinced there will be a MY19 (for any 991.2 except probably the Turbo). I also believe demand to be strong for the T but that probably didn’t kick in until late Jan/Feb. From what I’ve been hearing, most would love to pick a T over another model had it been an option at the time they were buying.
Prior to that it was pure speculation, so lots of folks were hesitant I’m guessing.

I think the T is very appealing to the finite number of enthusiasts who place the highest value on getting the performance options with the base engine. It's a narrow subset of 911 buyers. I love the T for what it is, but I would only lightly option one. My only gripe with the car is that I strongly feel it should have come stock with S brakes (and the calipers painted Agate). Absolute BS needing to drop all the $$$ for PCCB.

I'm curious as to how many more would sell if they open the 'T" to PTS... I might consider it. For now I guess I'll just wait for the 992 and see what happens with it.
