Default CARB for T

I got information from my SA last week that CARB for T have not been approved. Any one in CA have the same information? or updated information? or taken delivery yet?

Really?! It's the same car as the 991.2 base. What are they smokin' in CA these days?

I'm really sorry to hear that, man. I know the GT3T deliveries have had some hiccups.

Sounds like a testing delay. You could try contacting ARB in Sacto regarding the delay, sometimes you can get lucky and reach a helpful resource.

Sadly, an early adopter hurdle, it's very common so just a delay. Relax, your car has been built and has arrived.... almost.

I’m dreading the day when the cars must be delivered with a non-switchable stop/start and permanent “eco” driving mode that basically will perform like a Prius.

They want to make absolutely sure it isn't a diesel.

911 Carrera T is not yet CARB approved as of yesterday. You can check the ARB website, but Porsche gets the info a few days earlier than it goes up on the web.

Porsche has no clue when it will be approved so take their planned dates with a grain of salt.

A colleague waited so long for his 2017 Macan to get through CARB at the time, that he received a coupon for a free day at a PEC. Yes, I'd have rather had the car instead, but it wasn't Porsche's fault so props for the gesture.

I was part of that. I got a voucher and drove a Carrera S at PEC for couple of hours, and look what I end of getting. Well played Porsche.. well played..
