Picked up a couple of “sale” back issues and when my wife asked what I wanted for my recent birthday, 000 subscription was an easy answer. She was thrilled because I’m never able to answer that question.
Eagerly awaiting the finished product on the 991.2 GTS comparison as well as the rest of the coming issue. Love the content and happy to support a very local business
Thanks, Chris! Normally, I'd say stop by the office and take my other sample copy, but...
Thank you, again, for making that story possible with such a perfect 991.2 to compare to. Those were fun days, and they seem more even valuable right now.

I'm both partial and impartial, but one of my favorites is 007, which has the stillborn LMP2000 on the cover. It only took 20 years to get that story, and author Randy Leffingwell knocked it. out. of. the. park. As did the photographer, Frederik Dulay-Winkler. The shoot is also special because it was the first time the car had been back to Weissach-Flacht in 20 years…where it caused a minor sensation. Many factory people in the race shops said, "We made this?"
I'd have to go back and look, but the birth of GT3 epic in 005 is another one…website has it wrong, describing it as "GT3 race cars" when that's only one of two parts. Some of the best "inside baseball" we've published is in that story.

You are welcome (!), and we hope 011 provides you with hours of entertainment.

Keep up the great work, Pete!
Awesome! This was one of the hopes from the beginning. Nice to see it become a reality. We'll keep at it, and 014 is shaping up with another story I've wanted for 20 years…even after reporting on it in period myself, there were so many questions left unanswered.
Right on!Thank you—and you definitely aren't. But should you run into any problems, please check in with Rebekah via the site. We'll make sure you're taken care of.
Issue 013 was just delivered to my home—and printed beautifully. We are deeply appreciative that both our printer (a family business) and its fulfillment center are making things work while implementing social distancing. It doesn't hurt that both are contractors for the government and considered essential services. Many, many thanks. If you've renewed on time each time, I think you should have 012. If not, or you need it, let us know. If we owe you one we'll confirm and send it—if not, all available back issues are still on sale at $49 right now.
We'll keep at it, and 014 is shaping up nicely. There's a deep dive in an unusual German archive going down as I type this, with 149 unpublished items and counting culled so far...
Where has everyone placed their 000 stickers on their vehicles? Looking for some ideas for my 991.2 carerra T...thinking quarter windows on the bottom?

This is an excellent question. I have been contemplating the bottom center of the rear window--I think I recall that's where Pete has his on his 991.2 C2.

That's where I had it on my GT4 (actually, in the black area at the bottom of the rear window), and exactly the way I had it at the base of the rear window on my 991.2 (as it's too low when it's in the black on a 991.2), but I've "upgraded" to something even subtler, in metal. I still prefer the sticker on some cars, but really like the way this works with some modern Porsches.
Maybe I’m missing it but I can’t make it out in that pic. Can you post a closer shot?
Had to dig through my phone to find one.
These came about in an odd way, as we published an art piece on rare Porsche dealer plate frames—which are only rare because they were the first thing so many owners tossed. And sure enough, I pulled the dealer frame off my 911 the moment the CA plates arrived and was about to toss it when I realized it was hefty because it was metal. So I called my dealer and asked if he'd share their supplier. The result is the first frame I've liked better than no frame on a modern Porsche, as plain frames look a bit too plain to me.

Pete, how can we get one of those, as I think the stickers are too big to fit on the frames I've seen?
