Definitely good thoughts…I've never cared much for hard sell anything, but perhaps it would be good to use the "agent 000" handle a bit more. That said, Rennlist has always been a bit like my digital EASY (a Porsche hangout in the East Bay I've been going to since high school)...a place to simply be a car nut with fellow car nuts and contribute something when I can. When we decided to support Rennlist as a sponsor, that was a feel-good to me—but I still kinda like just hanging out. Hmm...

I understand, Pete. But please don't think using your "agent 000" handle and 000 Avatar on RL on all your posts is hard selling us. It's not. And my guess is you could still hang out and be yourself...I'm sure it wouldn't change how you "behave" on RL--you're a tremendous fount of knowledge for the rest of us--and you're actually doing us a favor by letting us know about 000. Seems a win/win to me. Just my $0.005 worth.

All three great shots... but you picked the right one. Love that T photo by CamsPorsche.

A friend has been scouring North American inventory for a Carrera/S/GTS/T with 4WSS+ or adaptive sport seats but no sunroof and a few desired options (he would like RAS, but isn't picky about transmission, liking both 7MT and PDK) and says that non-moonroof/"enthusiast optioned" 3.0-liter cars are vaporware. My gut says they've got to be out there in small qty, but maybe only with people who ordered them and who aren't likely to give them up. He was particularly surprised by the number of Ts with glass roofs and no RAS, as though the dealers all ordered them. Says the only exceptions are Ts with LWB and not much else (and he needs rear seats).
Pete,
Not to turn this into a collectability thread or comment but this is exactly what we see in Canada as well. Oddly spec'd Carrera T's that go against the ethos of the car, particularly by dealers.
If I see any on resale they are either not RAS equipped or are PDK or bloated with a ton of options.
For example...a white T has sat at a local dealer for months as it has buckets, glass sunroof, lightweight glass delete and no RAS! Dealer spec'd!

Agree 1000% with the above. I don't miss my GT4. It was a great car and great value, but I would take a T (or base Carrera) every time.
Alex's genius. I was skeptical until I realized it could be lighter than a Cabrio or Speedster, and possibly even the coupe (probably +/-). And then I saw the renderings…

You’re correct, Tom. Issue 006 is the one featuring the Carrera T (among many other things). I and others have ordered 006 as a back issue from 000’s website.
Have never paid £75 for a book or magazine in my life, but am eagerly anticipating the delivery of my 000 over here in the sunny UK!
Cheers,
Simon
P.S. Being an avid Bond fan, I may not be able to resist ordering a copy of 007 too!

Confession: I share mine with a friend and colleague who has a 1988 911 cabriolet, bought new by him...by our company, actually, but he bought it from the company many years ago. Since he now lives in Flagstaff, Arizona he gets to keep them.
