I understand, Pete. But please don't think using your "agent 000" handle and 000 Avatar on RL on all your posts is hard selling us. It's not. And my guess is you could still hang out and be yourself...I'm sure it wouldn't change how you "behave" on RL--you're a tremendous fount of knowledge for the rest of us--and you're actually doing us a favor by letting us know about 000. Seems a win/win to me. Just my $0.005 worth.

PS: Been reading the piece in the current 000 about the von Neumann and Hoffman dealerships. Makes a convincing case for promoting 000 at places where Porsche enthusiasts gather, such as driving events and the Cars and Coffee at EASY. Just my $0.0025 worth. ;-)

You aren't alone. I have a feeling issue 006 will be sold out soon.

All three great shots... but you picked the right one. Love that T photo by CamsPorsche.

My gut says they've got to be out there in small qty, but maybe only with people who ordered them and who aren't likely to give them up. He was particularly surprised by the number of Ts with glass roofs and no RAS, as though the dealers all ordered them. Says the only exceptions are Ts with LWB and not much else (and he needs rear seats).

If I see any on resale they are either not RAS equipped or are PDK or bloated with a ton of options.

For example...a white T has sat at a local dealer for months as it has buckets, glass sunroof, lightweight glass delete and no RAS! Dealer spec'd!
Yep, this point was touched upon in the T thread on the GT3 board, as well. If memory serves me, it was member evilfij who stated there that remaining Ts were being discounted. While this is true, the problem is that the Ts sitting on dealer lots are silly specs -- either bloated or antithetical to T ethos. I really don't get certain builds that dealers come up with, same with many dealer-specced GT3s I've seen over the years. You would think they'd know what sells. You know, with it being what they do for a living and all.

I had a GT4 - great car but I'd take the T over it all day long. As for brakes, I'm a ceramics guy...and they are sublime.

Missed the opp to respond to your comment somewhere else, but it looks like we've been same place, and possibly same time, at least once before.

Agree 1000% with the above. I don't miss my GT4. It was a great car and great value, but I would take a T (or base Carrera) every time.

Alex's genius. I was skeptical until I realized it could be lighter than a Cabrio or Speedster, and possibly even the coupe (probably +/-). And then I saw the renderings…

I think the current issue is 008...or, as "M" would say, "Double oh eight." ;-) But would Pete and Alexander say "Double zero eight?"

God bless,

You’re correct, Tom. Issue 006 is the one featuring the Carrera T (among many other things). I and others have ordered 006 as a back issue from 000’s website.

Have never paid £75 for a book or magazine in my life, but am eagerly anticipating the delivery of my 000 over here in the sunny UK!

Cheers,

Simon

P.S. Being an avid Bond fan, I may not be able to resist ordering a copy of 007 too!

My bad, Simon. I misunderstood. Of course, the "T" issue is "Double oh (or zero?) six." 007 should be a keeper, too, at least for Bond fans. I guess they're all keepers!

Gosh, Simon, those 19" wheels look sooooo good on your yellow T! I think they're actually among the best looking wheels currently available on 911s.

God bless,
