Painted key trim
Was to cheap to order the painted key trim.
Dont really want to pay $120 plus shipping from Suncoast.
Anyone bought the Ebay $25 model? Reviews?
Also the one I looked at list 2016 as the last year it fits. Did they change the key from the .1 to the .2? Doesn't appear so based on Suncoast description of 911 2012.5 and newer

I tried painting my key fobs Riviera Blue and the results while ok, didn't last. I also bought a $15 set from Amazon (For my wife's Sapphire Blue Macan) and while the color was slightly off, the fobs themselves chipped and cracked within weeks.
I ended up going to a specialty body shop (the one my detailer works with) and he repainted them for 80 bucks a key. The results were terrific.

I bought the eBay shell and it looks and fits like OEM.. Pretty sure this is the same company that makes these for Porsche but someone in the factory is turning around and selling at the back end for 1/4 of the price.

The ones from Amazon for $11 () are actually better than the high-dollar Porsche shell cases.
The former are molded color plastic. The latter are painted plastic. The paint chips easily. If you look closely - bottom right, at the very tip - you'll see where the edges of my red key are chipped.
You can also buy look-alike (p)leather key cases on ebay.
