$39.90 + $39.90 + $14.50 + Dealer Install = $1bazillion. Maybe that will be my Christmas present.

Therefore, if you want to do the dark aluminum dash trim (or something else) after delivery, you want a standard vinyl interior or full-leather WITH the leather dash trim (to get the door trims in leather, though that means they won't match your new door trim). The alternative is to pay the CXX tax for the Anthracite or Black aluminum dash/door/console trim, which was $3400 when I looked into it vs $820-970 for the bright silver brushed aluminum trim and ~$2000 for the carbon-fiber trim available on the configurator.
Agreed, but you could order the full leather WITH the leather dash and just replace the dashboard pieces for black brushed aluminum as the doors will be all leather and no mismatched look as you would get with the regular shiny black pieces.

^ I may not have written it well, but if you want a full-leather interior with dark aluminum dash trim, you need to order one of the full-leather interiors and then add the leather dash/center console/door trim (EKC "Leather Interior Package i.c.w. Leather Interior" for $1,100).

The door trims are the problem. While it is possible to do something about them, in practical terms whatever door trims are there are likely going to stay there.

No, you wrote it correctly, mine was not clear. Just edited mine for clarity now.

Now, isn't the extra leather trim a $0 cost option for the T in the US?

Thanks Pete!

I have specced that, thanks to someone on here!

I have the shiny black plastic trim in my Panamera cabin, so fancied a change. Plus the shiny black plastic shows up the finger prints and/or dust etc, especially when the sun is shining,

Weird. Mine is a 2018 Carrera ("base") with black Sport-Tex and it came with all the deviated stitching in silver. In fact other leather things I added (steering column, Sport seats plus backrest shells) came with the matching deviated stitching in silver without choosing the "with contrasting stitching" option.

Might be different because I am in Canada - although I always thought we got the same options as in the US. Our configurator still shows this combination available for the base Carrera and the visualizer still shows the stitching in silver. I also got headlight washers with the PDLS - which seems to be a random inclusion.

The standard trim is vinyl? are you sure?

On the configurator.. you dont get a gloss door trim piece unless you spec the full leather interior. Otherwise there is just a vinyl piece there.

That is correct in real life too. I've seen it live and it is like described above.
