I think they should offer this for all models:
4 no cost basic colors: black, red, white, yellow
4 premium metallic colors: silver, white, black, blue
20 classic Porsche colors at the $4K mark
PTS at the 10K mark for the truly exotic...
I think the 4K tier would probably account for 80+% of sales across all models.

This is just for 991 production. Be willing to bet some will come back with the 992.

Sigh, I just want my Sapphire Blue beauty built and put on a boat!

We’re in this together, brother! Haven’t heard those except here. SA has told me “rear axel steering parts source”, “they won’t tell me which part” and now this paint thing.
Good news: the wheels (and spacers!) I ordered are at the dealer ready to install. LOL.

Over at the GT3/RS forum, a poll was conducted on what color was on their GT3's. Sapphire Blue was around 10% of all respondents. While I realize color choice is subjective, I am tired of all the 50 shades of gray on sports cars. Here is the poll if anyone would like to view it https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...-your-gt3.html

Graphite Blue Metallic is the one color I try to avoid ordering. We have zero interest on it in my market. The configurator version online looks killer. I do think Chalk will move into the 720 slot and we will see Biscay Blue (which is awesome) from new Cayenne slide into production.

So sad, Sapphire Blue was absolutely gorgeous on the 911. Perhaps they will just replace with another shade of grey, white, or silver, LOL.

75% of cars sold in the US are white, black, grey or silver. Looking at the GT3 poll, those colors represent 63% there. So whatever color chosen outside those is going to be a fairly small sample of the total.
I’m glad to have MB on my 911, even though it sometimes attracts more interest than I’d like.

I wonder how recent that is. I just wonder as I've read numerous people who've ordered a 991.2 GT3 moaning because so many have specced Miami Blue, yet it's not on that poll at all...
