What kind of watches to 911T shoppers wear?
#76
I wear something that's a bit more low profile -- a Grand Seiko Snowflake. I think watch enthusiasts know what it is, but it generally flies under the radar.
I'm also new to forum -- looking to get into my first 991.1S. Can someone confirm my this post is going through? I'd like to comment on some FS ads in the classified section. I don't think I have enough user activity to create a WTB post yet.

A few years ago I saw a "selfie" of a guy from the UAE with his Richard Milie and 991 ...car and watch, same price
'Below is my Omega cron watch...I've been meaning to check the 991 speedo with it.

Virtue signal much?
Personally, I like how this started as a T bash thread, and then lots of cool watches are getting posted up... But I guess that's because I'm white and Anglo... Who knew?

p.s. Horology and love of watches aren't racial issues. Let's not make them one...

I have quite a few and very rarely do other people even notice them. I tend to prefer watches the mainstream watch fanatics ignore. Never been a fan of Omega or Rolex. Which is fine cause I wear them for me...not to impress. I am being sarcastic by the way with what is below:
Filson Journeyman (working the trails watch - takes a beating)
Sinn 903 ST (a wanna-be Brietling Navtimer, but quite frankly it's a nicer quality build and not as pretentious IMO)
Alpina Avalanche Extreme (when I feel like I need to work the forearm muscles, i.e., it's huge and heavy)
Alpina Pilot Startimer Chronograph (2)...helps to have a spare when the battery runs out on one of them
Chopard Mille Miglia GT XL (white face) - they sponsor Christophorous so respectable p-car owners MUST OWN ONE!
Seiko automatic Day, Date...ancient watch from my Dad, inherited after he passed, i rarely wear it for sentimental reasons.
On order is my 1st Dive Watch...a Helm Khuraburi.
