Something about a porsche.....

Drive it in good health!
Thank you Bradley. I look forward like most to living, enjoying and being humbly appreciative to live out our (my 40 year old) dream. Thank you again.

Thank you war eagle Scott. Regarding the agonizing wait, my work schedule forces me to wait as well as my lovely wife told me to get my current car out before we bring the new car home. I also hope waiting 7 more days on top of 40 year wait (starting from 10 years old) will not hurt too much. I hope ... thanks again.

The low end torque on that X51 almost makes shifting optional. I just completed the 2K break in/oil change on mine. Having the extra 3K RPM to play with is nice but not really necessary in the real world.
You picked a great model for a first Pcar...
thank you Keadog for the encouraging and helpful notes. Congrats to you on your ride.

The car is beautiful. Congratulations on the early arrival and the fulfillment of one of your childhood dreams.

To be fair, as a little kid I had posters of a Porsche, Lotus, Ferrari, and Lamborghini on the wall in my playroom.

Got one, don’t care for the other (too small), and can’t afford (yet) the other two.

Congratulations on achieving your dream. The car is mean looking (in a good way, of course).
