Default Pleasant early surprise

Afternoon all,
Earlier this week I received a call from the dealer that my 2018C4GTS arrived (a month early)!

Managed to swing by to see the car later in the week. Plan to pick-up next week Friday. When I saw the car, a car I've wanted since I was 10 years old (now 50), all I wanted to do was cry, thank my wife and thank her and god for a damn lucky life.

P.S. That's not me in the top photo. That's the sales professional, who has been the definitive professional and my beautiful wife.

Looks like a great build: 4 GTS in the best color, 7MT, Sport Chrono, and Alcantara delete with full leather. That'd be the same start of an new 911 for me!

Any other bits we should know about?

Thank you Mountain_Smith. Regarding other major bits I added black/Bordeaux, axle lift, rear axle steering and sunroof (metal). Hope to learn a lot from all of you.

Amazing! It's funny how everyone that gets a porsche usually starts their post "I've wanted one since I was ten" - you never hear this from other car manufacturer customers.

Something about a porsche.....

Drive it in good health!

Congrats! Looks great.
Just curious are you not getting it until Friday because of your schedule or will it not be prepped until then? Seems like an agonizing wait! haha

Strong work on MT and full leather! Black/Bordeaux is beautiful and is a great complement to Agate.
The low end torque on that X51 almost makes shifting optional. I just completed the 2K break in/oil change on mine. Having the extra 3K RPM to play with is nice but not really necessary in the real world.
You picked a great model for a first Pcar...
