The one day argument your service advisor might give you is no longer valid. Hopefully they can get this resolved for you, and maybe they got a fresh shipment of new P-cars to look at while you wait...my dealership got a new CAB GTS (Chalk) that looked great.

Sorry to hear you are having problems...
Agreed, agreed and thanks.. Dealership close by and they are great to me. Sales guy on Porsche trip he won for top 100 in the US and back Thursday. All I have to do is leave car outside and he comes and picks it up for me.. will take care of it next week unless it magically works before then. More to come...

Appreciate your feedback.

Problem solved. Starting in the 2018 model year, traffic and other data services can only be activated by Porsche, not the SIM you put in the dash. There is now, beginning in 2018, an embedded SIM that is activated once you register and get an activation code from PCNA. For the 2017 that I previously had, all I had to do was put in a live external SIM. Now the external SIM is only for WIFI hotspot.

Thanks. Any questions, please let me know.

MY17 991.2 have an undocumented SIM.
It is used for Security Services, Porsche Car Connect from your iPhone and who knows what else. You can remove the SIM card in the Dash and the Security Services and Porsche Car Connect will still work.-Richard
