1,000,000th 911
Anyone see the cover photo on Excellence of the 1,000,000th 911? If it's not the most beautiful car I've ever seen, it's sure amongst 'em as Dizzy Dean would have said. I've never been a big fan of green Porsches but this green, that mimics the first 911, looks as if it was made for the car.
I think I can count on one hand the vehicles that I think hit the bull's eye with the design, e.g. the Ferrari 250 GT Lusso, and this 911 is sure one of them.
What do y'all think?
Pete

Dark greens have always been my absolute favorite 911 color. So sad they screw us with the PTS nonsense when it's been a full on production color for generations, including the cayenne a few years ago.

Agreed...search function inside the site sucks. I usually use Google and add "Rennlist" at the end to find anything on this site. I usually have better luck.

My first car was a Verduro Green '69 GTO and the color stuck. Most of my cars have been other colors over the years, but I have a soft spot for green cars. Not to everyone's taste, I'm well aware. But I've also had a Mahogany Boxster S and an Anthracite TT to cover most peoples' second favorite color, brown. My '08 Tundra farm truck is a dark green metallic (Timberline Mica).
I was going to order my S550 in green, but my wife told me they only came in black.
