To my knowledge (which is derived from reading stuff on this forum and elsewhere), I don't think that is publicly known as of now.

I'm thinking you can probably order a 2018 the first few months of 2018,....and then they go away. Anything ordered middle or end of the year will be a 2019 992. The GTS may/may not have a 2019 year. Usually Porsche will let the 992 base & S settle in for a bit, then announce the "4" versions, and then announce the GTS,....but given the GTS has become so popular lately, it may follow only a few months behind. Otherwise it may be 2020 model year before we see the next GTS.

I believe the 991.2 production will end in 2018. The 992 production will start in December 2018.

where is this 992 info coming from? I haven't seen it from an official source and considering there hasn't been an 991.2 GT3 RS even announced yet I'd say the 992 wouldn't come until at least 2020 because if the RS isn't coming in 2018 it would have to be 2019 judging from the past releases right??? (if it was 2018 it would of been announced already I'd guess)

My apologies, my memory is not as good as it once was. The 992 production stars Q3 2018.

And regarding to GT3RS, it will come out in 2018 with very short production run.

It seems GTS is selling well? But most reviews dont seem that positive.

That's actually good timing for my lease. My two year anniversary is November 2018, so if I don't prefer the 992 I can just keep on with the 991.

I have to disagree. I have done exhaustive research for online reviews and videos and they are almost all extremely positive, only a couple were lukewarm.

I have not seen as many "initial impressions" reviews, after a few months of ownership from the turbo GTS owners, as I would expect. Then again I'm sure the number of people who would give a poor, public, review on a car they just dropped 150k would be slim to none anyway.

Where are these negative reviews you referenced? Can you post a link or two?

I don't know how well the GTS are selling in terms of sale number but I do know its hard to find an allocation for GTS and here in Southern California, its also hard to get any discount on ordered GTS.

I have one and love it.

While I was waiting for mine to arrive, I watched every YouTube review/read every bit of written reviews I could find to help pass the time. I don't remember any common threads of negativity in any of them.

I can't remember an even marginal one for either the 991.1 or .2 GTS,....many reviews have even selected it over the "true" Turbo/Turbo S

Check out this 991.2 GTS 7:24 lap on the Nordschleife. It's faster than the 991.1 GT3...
