Default Porsche Side Decal Opinion

I am considering putting on the Porsche side decal on my 2018 C4. My car has the same color scheme as the one below - white with black wheels. Thanks for the pic Texascarlover. I bought the decal from suncoast in advance of my car arriving home. Now I am having second thoughts on it. The car looks clean without the decal. On the other hand, when I was a kid, I always liked seeing this decal on the Porsches so there is a bit of nostalgia for me which is appealing.

I realize this is another opinion thread and we are all different but I'd like to see/read people's comments.

I think it depends on if you are going for a more classy 911 touring car look, or a more sporty 911 track car look. I personally like the decal if you are leaning toward a more sporty look, and I think the black wheels already give it some early "turn in" toward that sporty direction.

Put them on. It's easy to remove and you have them already. If you get tired. Remove )

I'm neutral and am considering it too although to be fair - your car won't have those wheels, bumper, red calipers or center locks so could look completely different.

Black wheels really get lost under the car, visually.

I've never been a fan of putting the words "PORSCHE" on a Porsche. Seems too redundant. A track car, fine. Street car, too much attention.

Agreed, Before taking delivery we had the dealer remove the decal.

I have white car with black center lock wheels too. Have been thinking about putting on that decal literally for years. Every time I am ready to order, I pull back. Even though I like it, something is alway telling me not to buy. I guess if you already have it, put it on. If you don't like it or get tired of it, you can always remove it.

It's a sticker. Put it on the car.

Don't like it? Take it off.

Try it. Remove if you don't like it.

For the car in the pic, I would vote to swap the front indicators to clears.

Personally, I am not a fan for street cars and I voted no. Since you already purchased the decal and I assume you cannot return it, then put it on. If YOU like it, then that's all that matters.

Put it on the passenger side only. Make it a point of approaching the car from different sides over the course of a week or two. You'll know soon enough which side looks better. The best part is that since others can only see one side of the car at a time very few people will pick up on the lack of symmetry. I did the same thing with the CARRERA decal on my own car and decided to remove it and keep the car 'clean' looking.

This sounds like a bad idea on first read but after thinking about it this is actually brilliant.
I like a car that isn't like all the others. It is a unique touch. I say go for it and like others have said if you don't like it simply take it off.

All good points, above. The real question is what is your taste and what look are you going for? It's not like it has to be permanent so go ahead and try it.
