Default Help .. 991.2 C4S White w/ Carrera Sport Wheels

Hello everyone, this is my first post

I placing in my order this week for my first porsche (991.2 C4S) and I'm having a bit of a problem deciding on the wheels.

I'm a big fan of the new Carrera Sport Wheels, and I'm undecided if whether I should go with the Standard Grey they come with or the Platinum Satin.

I can barely find any pictures of the Carrera Sport with Platinum Satin finish anywhere! Specially on a white Carrera, have any of you guys come across one?

I love how they look in the configurator but I have no real world reference on how they'll look on a white carrera,

Thanks in advance!

Not a white car, but here is a closeup of the wheel.

Cheers, -Peter

Either will look good on a white car but I think the standard finish will be slightly better. If the car was GT silver I'd give the edge to platinum. Can't go wrong either way.

Thanks for your input!

I'm leaning to the standard finish a bit more at this point as well, I believe the standard will give it a bit of a cleaner look.

Here's a thought. If you go with the Jet Black metallic on the wheels, they have nice silver accents that might work quite well with your white 911.

Depends on the look you are going for: Satin for GT (like me) or black for racy

I'd go with platinum or jet black on white car.

I love this combination!

Definitely think this is a winner, I love how clean it looks.

I saw other pictures of your C4S and I love it.

Get the base wheels and then buy a set of HRE's for it. Now you'll have some REALLY nice wheels. Put your originals in the basement for when you sell the car or trade it out. The Wheel Enhancement guys will fix you right up. Now your 991 can look like this:

I agree with the poster above. HRE drew inspiration from Porsche's 993 Turbo Twists when they created these RS102's. They are hands down my favorite HRE wheel model and work flawlessly with the 991 generation body.

Feel free to contact me directly. As HRE's largest dealer in the world I have plenty of deals to offer you
