Default PDLS vs standard lights

When I ordered my gt3 in 2015, PDLS had a grey outer border and more black on the interior of the lights vs standard xenon lights. I was at a Porsche dealership today and saw a new C4S with standard lights and it looked like the old PDLS except there were no nipples (headlight cleaners). Has this changed?

Thanks for that. However, I'm still not clear if the PDLS and standard xenon lights look the same or not. Does anyone know? Sales guy I spoke with didn't know

The PDLS has a black back ground, chrome projectors, and grey ring. While standards are all chrome with grey ring.

here is a pic of my car with PDLS

Compared to the standards

Beyond appearance, PDLS are amazing at night everywhere the road is not straight.

Oddly, I prefer the gray backgrounds—but would have to have PLDS for the improvement in night lighting and safety.

It definitely depends on car color, however...
