Does an agate interior have too much glare? My current cars are a Cayman with black interior (no problem) and a Panamera with black dash and Luxor seats. I read somewhere that agate was problematic. Thoughts?

Agate is quite dark. I would think not. The lighter-colored dashboards are the problematic ones and Porsche no longer offers monotones in their lighter colors like beige. Mine is the graphite blue and chalk and I did not notice any distracting reflections in the windshield.

Mine is graphite blue, seems fine reflection wise.

Your response is so helpful... Thanks! Having seen agate in person I couldn't imagine it being a problem - I guess some people are just more sensitive to reflections. Actually I haven't noticed the change on the configurator regarding the absence of light colors on the dash. So thanks for pointing that out as well!

tschüssi!

I have Agate interior and have never experienced issues with glare. My previous car had Sand Beige (Meteor Grey exterior) and it was a different story. I love the Agate - very classy and sets the car apart. The picture is in full sun and makes it look lighter than it really is. It actually seems to change hue and darkness based on lighting conditions.

Zero issue for me and Agate grey, including the deviated stitching in GT silver. Simply never see it in reflection
