Default GMG WC-Sport Exhaust System is now available for the 991.2 Carrera!

GMG WC-Sport Exhaust System is now available for the 991.2 Carrera

We are proud to offer our new WC-Sport Exhaust System for the 991.2-gen Porsche 911 Carrera. The result of an extensive development process, this system will add that exhaust character to really help your new 911 Carrera come alive. Systems are available for both the standard bumper design (side-exit) and the “sport” bumper design (center-exit).

This GMG WC-Sport Exhaust System is made here in Southern California from US-produced T304 Stainless Steel. Each system is precisely fabricated to the industry-leading standard that you expect from GMG. It incorporates design features engineered into a number of our other exhaust systems. Given that the new Carrera is now turbocharged we incorporated our popular X-pipe design found on the 911 Turbo GMG WC-Sport Exhaust systems.

The crossover X-pipe works by balancing the exhaust pulses from both banks of cylinders. It allows the exhaust gases to flow down the path of least resistance while speeding up exhaust velocity. At lower revs, turbulence is formed as exhaust gases try to shuffle past a second column of gases coming from the other side. The X-Pipe merges the exhaust into two uniform streams, allowing a smooth flow from engine to exhaust exit.

Also featured in this exhaust is the use of high-flow German-made HJS HD 200 cell sport catalytic converters. These are simply the highest quality cats made today and feature heat-resistant stainless-steel packing.
Features:

• Deep aggressive exhaust notes at lowers revs & exotic high pitched exhaust notes at higher revs.
• German made HJS high-flow, 200-cell sport catalytic converters (OBD2- compliant, no CEL, stainless steel packing).
• Crossover X-Pipe to balance exhaust pulse
• No unwanted cabin drone
• Constructed out of US Made T304 Stainless steel
• Significant weight savings over the stock system.
• Direct bolt on replacement, All hardware and clamps included
• Requires no modification to vehicle.
• Made right here in Southern California

Installation is available here at our Santa Ana facilities or any of our authorized distributors.

Damn, cat only no muffler or even a resonator. Even with the turbos, this must pack some volume. Interested in hearing what it does take wake up the .2's sound wise. Also, any drone with no res?

I'm reviving this thread, because I'm very interested in this exhaust. However, I haven't seen anything new regarding its availability or any video clips for the 991.2 Carrera, Carrera S or GTS.
Any updates?

Bumping this as well. Very interested in ordering one, but need to hear what it sounds like first. I also emailed GMG, and will post their reply.

Just have a custom setup made at your friendly neighborhood exhaust shop, which seems very easy for a good shop to do, and probably a lot less as well.
